NOTE: I WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY AT THE FIRST OF THE WEEK WHEN THIS POST RAN. THERE WERE ISSUES WITH LINKS THAT SUDDENLY WORKED WHEN I RETURNED HOME.
TO GIVE COMPLETE SUPPORT TO EASY SPIRIT’S HEART HEALTH INITIATIVE, I OFFERED TO RE-POST TODAY WITH LINKS THAT WORK.
A GREAT COMPANY, CAUSE, AND PRODUCT! TUX AGREED.
Happy February! “Today, I’m excited to share more about Easy Spirit’s Heart Health initiative in honor of Heart Health Awareness Month.
This February, the brand is kicking off the month- a time typically associated with love- with a critical initiative called Move For Heart Health, that encourages us to love ourselves and prioritize self-care.
Easy Spirit is joining forces with Mt. Sinai’s Fuster Heart Hospital to directly impact the work of internally renowned heart function cardiologist and researchers, Dr. Anu Lala, who is dedicated to better understanding, preventing, and treating heart disease in women.
So, as you can see, my dog Tux and I are in complete agreement with the Move For Heart Health initiative. Please join me as I share my family story with heart disease and how we can help.
EASY SPIRIT DEBUTS IMPORTANT HEART HEALTH INITIATIVE: MY STORY

I would surmise that most of us are very aware of our family health since every medical facility asks that we write it down again as we enter new care.
My parents both passed with congestive heart failure.
I often consider the lifestyles of both my mother and father.
Both were overweight. Both smoked, but my mother did give it up as she got older.
Both ate, daily, unhealthy foods, and I have no memory of either doing any type of exercise or moving around other than normal living.
My biggest personal battle has been up and down weight, but as I get older, I have improved and am always trying to move more.

The MOVE FOR HEART HEALTH initiative has my attention, since I need reminders to move more.
Thank goodness I am active with blogging and family each day.
Oh yes…and with Tux. He likes to move more as well.
EASY SPIRIT DEBUTS IMPORTANT HEART HEALTH INITIATIVE: IN RED

The regular Over 50 Feeling 40 followers know how important Easy Spirit has been to my health journey after two surgeries on my feet.
Easy Spirit is now my go to shoe to keep me moving, and I love the idea of a red shoe for February, for heart health and to remind us to move with style.
This is the #MoveforHeart Limited Edition Romy Walking Shoe and it is so comfortable. They are made to keep us moving. If you are taken to a page not found, please click on Continue Shopping and put the name of the shoe in Search. I apologize for the link issues…working on it!

And sometimes he is ready to drag me around!
Proceeds from sale of the shoe will go to Dr. Lala’s work with Mt. Sinai to foster a supportive environment for women’s heart health every step of the way.
And it is a shoe you will be proud to walk in and use the beauty of red to tell others about the importance of heart health and moving to achieve it.
Let’s all consider joining with Easy Spirit and the Move for Heart Health campaign.
I would guess that all of us could use reminders to move more and this is one way to play a significant role in improving heart health by donating to the research work Dr. Lala is doing for women.
I am proud to also play a role.
KEEP MOVING & KEEP SMILING!
